Freya

12×16-inch print reproduction of a colored-pencil drawing, reprinted on matte archival paper.

The Norse goddess of love and war is sometimes depicted with two cats. I wanted to show this softer side of her. She pets one of them in her lap while the other gazes at the viewer. At the same time, her status as a boss is clearly established as she sits on a throne carved with intricate designs.
