FAQ

1. Does Jodi accept commissioned art orders?

No, unfortunately, Jodi no longer accepts commissioned art orders and doesn't make custom art based on personalized requests.

2. Can I get a certificate of authenticity?

We don't issue certificates of authenticity. Those can be faked or forged anyway, or paired with a knockoff. Instead, we offer something even better: All of Jodi's original art made after January 2013 bears her right thumbprint on the back as well as her handwritten specs, such as the art's medium, serial number, surface, and size. All art purchased at JodiArias.com is guaranteed authentic. Even Jodi's AI-generated creations were made using her own prompts and her creative direction in post-production and editing.

3. Can Jodi design my tattoo?

Unfortunately, Jodi doesn't design tattoos or do custom art. However, you're welcome to use elements of her art for inspiration, or in collaboration with a tattoo artist. Best of luck with that ink!

4. Does Jodi sign her art?

Yes! Jodi adds "ARIAS" on the front of her drawings and paintings in a visible yet unobtrusive place. Original art made after January 2013 also bears her right thumbprint and a unique serial number on the back.

5. Does Jodi sign prints?

No. Prints of Jodi's work are made at a printshop and shipped from there, so Jodi is unable to sign them.

6. Do you ship Internationally?

Yes! Prints are shipped worldwide. Original art is shipped only to countries and territories that allow us to insure the package for the full sale price.

7. Does shipping cost extra?

Shipping is FREE to addresses within the United States and its territories. International shipping costs an additional $25 for each checkout.

8. Am I allowed to resell Jodi's art?

Yes! Jodi doesn't mind if you resell a piece of her art. Reproducing it for resale, however, is copyright infringement, and that's against the law.

9. How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders typically ship within 5-7 business days. We are a small business and sometimes life happens, but getting your order to you is important to us. As soon as it ships, we will email you a tracking number.

International orders: Please allow three weeks for shipping and delivery.

10. Where does the art revenue go?

Much of it is invested back into the business to cover shipping, taxes, web hosting, and a webmaster. Ten percent is donated to nonprofits. Some goes towards Jodi's legal fees, but art revenue is kept separate from the JAA Appellate Fund, an irrevocable trust established by Jodi's family for legal expenses. This way, the trust remains absent of any money that might be considered hers. This ensures that donations received by the trust are protected from claims by the State or other adversaries.
